IRA Innovate comprise of dedicated parents, and kids -who share a common objective of challenging kids to think like scientists and engineers preparing them for productive, fulfilling lives through collaborative learning. At IRA Innovate we focus on overall development of the student; exposing them to competitive environment along with opportunities to serve the community.
We selected FLL (FIRST LEGO League) as our first STEAM solution because FLL fosters creativity, and collaboration through scientific and real world challenge. Robotic part of FLL involves designing and programming robots to complete different mission, while FLL core values lay the foundation for team-spirit, and friendly competition. Based on the challenge of the year, kids conduct research on the topic, and learn to work collaboratively with each other. Field trips are organized to help kids learn, explore and research more information on the topic . Based on the availability of an Expert, kids will have the honor to meet them personally or talk to them on Skype.
